I work across business, writing and the messy business of becoming. I was fascinated by the possibilities of things. At eleven, I started learning English for less than an hour a week. That small opening brought me a world beyond Vietnam.
Whenever a travel opportunity appeared, I would ask:
What is the furthest point from here? Forty-five countries later, that habit is still very much alive
spreadsheet, then get completely
distracted by different shades of blue.
I can love an extraordinary hotel flower experience, and be just as happy on a
plastic stool watching traffic go by.
I once wanted to write a book about a girl who lived beside a train station,
watching passengers and inventing their lives. I never wrote it. But I never
stopped watching people.
A woman can build a company.
A family. A career. A reputation.
And still wonder:
Who am I becoming?
Somewhere along the way, many women become
disconnected from themselves. Everything for
everyone. And eventually they forget: Who am I?
